Art takes many forms...you are already familiar with our photographic art, but you may not know that we are also involved in music and the performing arts. Several times during the year we participate in a group known as Dwij and Friends. The slide show journalizes a three hour performance celebrating the Winter Solstice. The performance was presented at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in their Bay front pavilion in Sarasota, Florida. The performance celebrated the change of season and was in conjunction with Selby's annual holiday lighting. Photography by Pat Nebel. (The hearts on the floor and backdrop are from the "Only Hearts" project where over 3,500 students from Sarasota schools expressed through art and words what a world of peace, cross-cultural harmony, and safety means to them.)
