Hillsborough River State Park - November 10, 2007

Hillsborough River State Park is a great place to play with camera settings - slow shutter speeds for water effects at the rapids. And a timely visit as we just traded our Canon 20D cameras for the new Canon 40Ds. Canon has lived up to its reputation...again. The day was perfect (78 degrees, sunny, blue sky, and a slight breeze out of the northeast). As we hiked the trails, it was still extremely dry and crunchy under our feet from our long summer drought, and yet we saw something new...a Scarlet-Bodied Wasp Moth - bright red body and legs with fluorescent blue head and spots. Made our day!
